This is my first post and I hope somebody out there reads this to make it worth the time. I am a professional Korean male, 5'10", 155 lbs, in pretty good shape and not totally unattractive. I will never be mistaken for a model or anything, but I'm not scaring the kids either.

Is it just me or does it seems like the NY/NJ dating pool is getting thinner and scarcer? You go to the same clubs and see the same people, mostly other dudes who got tricked into going. Every once in a while, you see an attractive woman who almost always has a boyfriend or a group of cock blocking girls and guys in tow. Sometimes, you start chatting it up with some girl who you think is cute, but ends up looking like Elvira on the walk to the cab. Even worse are the emotionally disturbed 17 YO who borrows a fake ID and tries too hard. Why is it that we always go to these places to meet girls and end up disappointed?

How many girls have you dated seriously after first meeting them at a night club? You're drunk, lower your standards, and end up hooking up with the same girl your friend just hooked up with. It's kind of gross and pathetic. I want to stand up against these parties and say that this is not the only way to meet women.

Throughout the life of this blog, I am going to try different activities and approaches to dating in the NY/NJ area. If you too are Korean/Asian and sick of going to get drunk and meeting one night stands or girls you would never bring home to your family, join me as I try a variety of ways to meet quality girls and have fun doing it. I will be your guinea pig as I scour the city in search of the best ways to meet women. People like us with good jobs, stable lifestyle, and just need something new.

Venue #1: Church

(Ok, ok, some of you might object to this, but it is a very good place. You're supposed to go to church to socialize and meet as well as worship G-D. You know these are relatively good girls and not all girls that go to church are "Church Girls". I'm sure there are plenty that drink and smoke and gamble just like we do who go there to repent or whatever reason. Either way, the point of this is not a one-night stand, but to find a real relationship, which G-D would not mind. I hope G-D doesn't mind. =) )
